Financial Aid

The deadline for financial aid (July 9, 2004) has been reached. We are no longer accepting financial aid requests.

A limited amount of financial aid is available to help pay for attendance to the ADASS 2004 conference. Financial aid is provided to participants based primarily on the merit of their presentation (oral, poster, or demonstration). Financial aid may be provided for any, or all, of the following: hotel accommodations, registration and/or demonstration fees. At present we do not expect to be able to provide financial support for air fare except in special circumstances.

Instructions

In order to apply for financial aid, a Financial Aid Cover Letter, Vita and Bibliography, Letter of Recommendation (if applicant is a student) and Presentation Abstract must be received by July 9, 2004.

Please submit the Financial Aid Cover Letter, Vita and Bibliography, and Letter of Recommendation via email to: adass@ipac.caltech.edu. Please use the Abstract Submission Form to submit the Presentation Abstract.

If you are requesting financial aid, do not fill out a registration form at this time. Those requesting financial aid will be notified soon after the abstract submission deadline (August 2, 2004) as to whether they will be granted any aid. If the financial aid is granted, instructions will be provided on how to register. If aid is not granted, applicants will be given an opportunity to register at the early discounted rate.

    Please submit the abstract via the Abstract Submission Form.
