We are pleased to announce that the poster program for ADASS XIV will be available this week on the ADASS 2004 web site. For quick reference, we have appended a list of the accepted poster contributions, sorted alphabetically by principle author. Please let me know if there are any errors in the principle author, title or omission or anything else for that matter We look forward to seeing you at ADASS 2004!

Discount Accommodations are filling up, so you might want to make your arrangements for Sheraton as soon as possible. Goto the Travel page, there is a link for other accommodations in the Pasadena area at the bottom.


Accommodations at the:

  • Sheraton Hotel are available at the discounted rate of $99US per night. In order to secure this rate please tell the hotel reservation desk that you are with the Caltech/ADASS group or use the ADASS-specific Web site where you may book, modify, or cancel a reservation (site active between 13 August 2004 to 23 September 2004)

  • Holiday Inn are available at the discounted rate of $69US per night. In order to secure this discount rate please tell the hotel reservation desk that you are with the Caltech/ADASS group.

    These discounted rates are in effect until 24 September 2004 or until our blocks of rooms has been exhausted.

    Reservations for Wednesday evening, at the discounted rate, may still be made and are subject to availability.

        We are pleased to announce the 14th annual conference on Astronomical Data Analysis Software and Systems (ADASS), to be held in Pasadena, California, USA, at the Sheraton Hotel from October 24-27, 2004. The program is expected to last until about 4pm on Wednesday 27th.

        The conference is hosted by the Infrared Processing and Analysis Center (IPAC) and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech)

        The ADASS Conference Series ( ) provides a forum for scientists and computer specialists concerned with algorithms, software, and operating systems that focus on the acquisition, reduction, analysis, storage and dissemination of astronomical data. The program includes invited talks, contributed papers, display sessions, tutorials, focused demonstrations sessions, and computer demonstrations, as well as special interest ("Birds of a Feather" or BOF) meetings. These activities aim to encourage communication among software specialists, scientists, and users, and also to stimulate further development of astronomical software and systems.
